Also the links point to the right places so the original exe files exist. I've checked default program settings and everything seems to be square, but none of the programs run without being run under the admin permission. However when trying to use the programs normally it doesn't say that there are permission conflicts, it pulls up the "which program would you like to open this with" every fricken time. Now all the programs won't run correctly unless I do the "right click/run as admin" work around. I manage to clean it up and save him a trip to the local Price Gougers R' Us (any office supply chain that offers virus removal) and clean the machine up pretty well. So one of my infamous users comes in with a virus laden computer and it's a mess.
